My Story
It started in 2004 when I walked into my first classroom in Dearborn Heights, Michigan at Tomlinson Intermediate School( now Tomlinson Middle) with a class full of eager 6th graders and the desire to be the "perfect teacher." Oh, what wishful thinking!
The reality that I soon discovered in 2004 is what led me on a quest for the next 7 years. The question that we all have asked ourselves is how do we maximize our 24 hrs. Is it really possible to get everything done? I was failing miserably at the trusty check-off lists, the phone alarms, and the affirmations to actually achieve simple tasks. I was multitasking my life and felt like a pet in a running cage that was heading nowhere.
I needed something to work. So I started to schedule my teacher life in a way that I found success based on research based strategies found in educational philosophy. Those strategies that helped me to become an effective teacher worked just as well in my personal life. I finally felt productive and accomplished and others started to notice. I begin offering my services at no charge in order to help people feel success.
A decade later in the year 2015, I finally perfected the process that laid the foundation to create Phase 2 Efficiency Solutions. I want to teach people so they too can reach their goals without burnout or a feeling of failure, but rather a true sense of accomplishment.
